The quintessential California-cool eyewear brand Garrett Leight California Optical (GLCO) has teamed up with national park outfitter Parks Project, creating a sustainable capsule collection to celebrate one of the state's most treasured regions in the Ventana Wilderness, Big Sur.

GLCO took its ultra-classic Hampton X frame and created it's first-ever eco version, constructed of biodegradable-acetate and derived from vegetable starch.

Aside from these versatile shades, we can't wait to get our hands on other pieces from the collection, such as a limited edition T-shirt, sweatsuit, beach towel, water bottle, and a 100% upcycled fanny pack made from puffy jackets. Each piece is stitched with a wave graphic inspired by the region's breathtaking views.

Of course, these items aren't just cute. A portion of every sale from the GLCO x Parks Project collaboration will go towards defending the Ventana Wilderness, including funding education, volunteering, advocating, and activating park supporters to get involved in conservation. What better way to help preserve our wilderness for future generations than to look great while doing it?

The collection ranges from $20 for the water bottle to $395 for the GLCO x Parks Project Hampton X Sun frames. Continue scrolling to see the entire collection, available to shop now at garrettleight.com.
