The slippers were a nice touch, too.

Here we were, all happy in our tie-dye sets and three-day-old pajama pants, when out steps Dakota Johnson in a socially distant lewk. The actress was spotted out in Los Angeles over the weekend, running errands with boyfriend Chris Martin's daughter, Apple. It was her breezy, white midi dress, however, that continues to stay on our mind. Mostly, because it's the happy medium between an actual outfit and the nightgowns we're very much into right now.

It turns out that Johnson's dress is from the Australian brand Posse, and will set us back $389 (plus shipping). It's easy to convince ourselves why we should make this purchase. Aside from being the perfect piece to wear on the couch, to the grocery store, or, heck, even to bed, white dresses are very much a summer staple. There aren't many places this design wouldn't work for; we'd even layer it over a long-sleeve tee or sweater in cooler weather.

Johnson also had the right idea when it came to footwear. She simply slipped into a pair of Charvet slippers ($450; net-a-porter.com), rather than fussing with laces or heels.

This isn't the first time Johnson demonstrated flawless personal style while quarantining. We're still thinking about her Levi's from a few weeks ago, which almost convinced us to break out our jeans. Almost.
