Angelina Jolie's Go-To Basics Brand Is Having a Rare Post-Labor Day Sale
June 8,th 2021 will be remembered for generations. Why? Because Angelina Jolie was spotted at a Papaya King (AKA a NYC-based hot-dog store) in Manhattan, buying a fountain soda, and a hot dog (of course) while wearing an Everlane box cut-tee. The look was so relatable, it nearly broke the internet. Sure it wasn't necessarily ground-breaking but 2021 has been a hard year. So let us enjoy Angelina Jolie eating a hot dog and wearing a white t-shirt like us peasants in peace!
Jolie's love of Everlane is no secret. She's long been a fan of the brand, and was even spotted wearing the currently sold-out facemask on the same fateful day. The actress is spotted in Everlane frequently, and is known for wearing the simple staples it's famous for paired with luxury accessories, like Ferragamo sandals. And while we may not necessarily have it like that, Everlane is a must-have for any and every season, clearly — designer accessories not needed.
After the internet-breaking sighting, the t-shirt promptly sold-out, and doesn't appear to be available anymore. But in an effort to stock up on more Jolie-approved basics for the fall season, we realized that there are plenty of other t-shirts that look identical and are currently on sale for under $25. Actually, it appears that Everlane is having a secret post-labor day sale on some best-selling pieces we need to stock up on ASAP. Prices go as low as $12, and nearly everything is under $25.
There's the oversized crew tee for just $20, which is so perfect for fall we don't know where to start. It's an essential layering piece you can wear underneath any sweater or cardigan, or just on it's own. Now you can buy one in every colorway for just $60, which is far lower than the normal $120. The organic cotton crew is even more affordable at just $12, and has 316 reviews, many with shoppers claiming it's by far the best t-shirt they own. And because soon we'll need to start covering our legs as temperatures cool down, the fixed waist-stretch cotton pants for just $23 feel like a must.
We could go on and on, and discuss why every piece that's currently on sale is worth buying. But at risk of everything selling out, we'll stop here, and leave you with this: Angelina Jolie likely owns at least some of these items. So buy them now while the prices are so low, and hopefully we'll all be twinning at a hot dog stand in the near future.
