Andra Day is as beautiful as she is vocally talented. Spend about five seconds listening to her new single, “Stand Up For Something” featuring Common, and I promise (money back guarantee, here) you’ll get the chills.

It’s hard to truly say anyone WON last night at the NAACP Image Awards. You had Kerry Washington in a Michael Kors gown made for a princess, Danielle Brooks in a custom Michael Costello fairytale dress, and Danai Gurira in a chic white Rodarte look. But Ms. Andra Day: you, my friend, won if we could identify a winner.

Day arrived wearing a Giorgio Armani Fall 2018 runway look that was entirely beaded. On the runways of Milan, the look was shown with a bedazzled headscarf. Day styled her hair just as deliciously.

Everything is always a collaboration with the entire glam team. If one of us is missing, the looks are never complete,” Day’s hairstylist Tony Medina tells InStyle.com “I specialize in Old Hollywood Hairstyling, so I always bring a vintage touch to complete her fun and funky looks. I completed her 1920's finger wave with hand stoned Swarovski clips, which I made the night before [the awards].”

Chic.

“The design, the fabric choice, the intricate beauty of the stones on the dress made it the one,” her wardrobe stylist Wouri Vice tells InStyle.com. “[This dress is] mysterious all while serving opulent glamour. I’ve worked with the Armani house for years and there’s always something luxe about the experience. The designs are always next level.”
