Hollywood's Favorite Sneaker Brand Is Donating to Healthcare Workers With Every Purchase
While we’re indoors practicing social distancing, online shopping has become even more popular of an extracurricular. So when Allbirds announced it would be donating sneakers to healthcare workers on the front lines of COVID-19, we figured why not put our virtual retail-binging to work for the greater good?
With its new Healthcare Donation Bundle initiative, the celebrity-loved sneaker brand has created an option to shop every style for $146, an effort that covers the price of your new shoes plus half the cost of a gifted pair for a healthcare worker. Or, if your sneaker collection is at its max capacity, there’s also an up-front “donation only” option for $60.
Known for its minimalist design and sustainable approach, Allbirds has become the unofficial sneaker of Hollywood with stars like Sarah Jessica Parker and Blake Lively on board. Jennifer Garner, Hilary Duff, and Courteney Cox are also among the laundry list of celebs who’ve given the lightweight sneakers their stamp of approval.
The charitable bundle can be applied to every Allbirds women’s style and colorway, including its popular Wool Runners sneakers, Tree Breezer flats, and Wool Lounger slip-ons. The brand shared in an Instagram statement plans for its buy-one-give-one model to continue while supplies last, as Wool Runners continue to be gifted to healthcare professionals in these hectic times.
If you’ve been going back and forth on the Allbirds in your cart, there’s never been a better opportunity to go for it. Keep scrolling to shop bundles on some of the celeb-loved footwear brand’s most popular styles, while you give back to others in the process.
