Photo: Getty Images The hot thing for celebrities right now is to be seen wearing a major designer's clothes straight off the runway. Not waiting for the garments to go into production or the arrival of the season they were designed for, stylists are getting their hands on the original, sometimes one-of-a-kind samples and sending their A-list clients out with a strong message of exclusivity. Since the FW '22 shows that took place between New York City and Europe over the last month, we've seen this phenomenon play out with Rihanna in Glenn Martens' first collection for Diesel, Maluma in Valentino's "Pink PP" collection, and Kim Kardashian teasing Balenciaga's "trash bag," straight from the brand's latest show. The latest star in this series is Rosalía, who only days ago appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon wearing a just-shown dress and boots from Acne Studios' FW '22 runway, which had taken place a mere week prior. But after seeing her wearing yet another pair of Acne boots from the brand's current-season collection in her music video for "Hentai," which released this week, we suspect there's a greater trend at play. In the past few weeks alone, so many celebrities have included Acne in their outfits. Could Acne Studios be becoming the definitive brand of spring? In recent weeks, Rihanna has worn a python vest and leather jacket from the SS '22 men's collection, Chrissy Teigen wore an Acne blazer to SXSW and a cardigan in Beverly Hills, Sophie Turner double-wore a pair of slip-on mules, Hailey Bieber wore a flame-adorned leather coat out to dinner, and Katie Holmes has worn the brand's loafers (and sneakers!) all over New York. Let's get one thing straight: Acne Studios has always been cool. The Swedish brand has had an iron grip on understated sexy fashion from influential style sleuths on the ground level reaching up to the tippy top of the totem pole of celebrities with global recognition. Plenty of brands have one hit category — handbags, say — but don't always excel in other departments. Acne, on the other hand, has a track record of churning out a following for products of every type, from its must-have oversized leather jackets to its wardrobe-essential jeans to the logo scarves every fashion person breaks out of their closet come fall and beyond. All of which to say, yes it was certainly impressive of Rosalía to wear the newest from Acne Studios, but wearing Acne Studios will always be a good move. There are so many incredible items in its current lineup, it's hard to tell which will go viral next — but that doesn't mean we won't take a shot: Below, shop the best Acne Studios pieces from Nordstrom celebs will most likely be wearing all spring.
