Last year, Jennifer Lopez closed out the year by wearing Coach on repeat with an enthusiasm unmatched by the celebrity faces of brands everywhere. Lopez wore Coach’s tabby bag out in the snow in New York, and wore Barbra Streisand’s face more than any human on earth (aside from Babs herself). While a Lopez sighting isn’t as common in the days of lockdown, she’s still held true to her annual end-of-year Coach-wearing tradition and has been wearing the American brand on repeat for weeks.
While wearing entirely head-to-toe Coach hasn’t been the most attainable New Year’s resolution, the brand’s major post-holiday sale finally gives us a chance to live out our Lopez-Coach-outfit dreams. Currently, over 700 items are marked down with an additional 50 percent discount applied to most of them. Prices start at $25, and Lopez’s go-to Tabby bag was newly added to the sale for $198.

One of Coach’s most iconic bags, the Kira messenger bag is now just $75. There’s also the Courier carryall which frequently sells out, because it can fit your entire life in it and then some, for $325. If you’ve been dreaming of that By Far bag every celebrity owns, Coach’s swinger bag is a more affordable take on the look for $138. For those who just want a simple shoulder bag, Coach’s camera bag is only available online in both black, and white for just $125.
As Lopez flawlessly and frequently demonstrates, Coach is more than just bags. Its outerwear is the stuff of envy with shearling bomber coats so plush they give that Max Mara a run for its money. Getting a Coach jacket may be the fastest way to get more bang for your buck at this sale because so many of them are now in the $200 to $500 range, whereas they typically retail for nearly $1,000. There’s also a very cute logo cashmere scarf for $113 and a pair of metallic leather pants worthy of Miley Cyrus’s new album for $328.
Coach sales go harder than most sales, and for that very reason it’s hard to go wrong. Plus, if you’re stuck between a couple things you can find peace in knowing Lopez probably owns them all so you’ll twin with her regardless. And let’s hope closing out the year while wearing Coach proves to be a better omen for next year. If anything, it'll provide us all the retail therapy we need for the final stretch of 2020.
