I’m adding two pairs to my cart right now.

If you're the type of person who never misplaces your winter gloves, I applaud you. Seriously, you deserve a trophy, a perfect credit score, and clear skin for the rest of your life because I have never been able to hold on to a pair for longer than a couple of weeks. Usually I'll end up leaving them behind on the subway or accidentally dropping them while getting out of an Uber. That's why I try to never, ever spend a ton of money on winter gloves.

At the same time, I don't want gloves that feel cheap, especially since I live in New York. I still need a pair that will keep my hands warm when the weather dips below freezing, and it'd be helpful if I could keep my gloves on and still use my touchscreen phone. (Texting and walking is dangerous enough. Add snow and things can really get ugly.) So I did some research and discovered the best-selling gloves on Amazon: Achiou winter gloves.

They are less than $12 (um, yeah, I'm adding two pairs to my cart right now) and they have nearly 5,000 five-star reviews. People are freaking out in the review section, with one shopper writing: "These gloves are quite warm (I have used them in weather as cold as about 20F), super soft on the inside, and even with my long nails, they don't make me feel like I've got webbing between my fingers!"

The gloves also have touchscreen technology, and anti-slip grips along the palms. Plus, the thermal lining is made from a soft wool, which makes them extremely cozy and warm. If that's not enough, those in need of more warmth have the option to upgrade to the extra-thick version, which also is available in all five colors.
