I can’t lie — I actually have pretty good genes. My parents are both in their 70s, but neither looks a day over 50. Thankfully, they’ve passed those traits down to both my brother and I, so we both still get carded even though we’re well past our 21st birthdays.

Since I’m in my 40s, though, a few wrinkles have popped up recently, especially on my forehead. I’m not opposed to Botox, but I also want to stave off needing it as long as possible. In my continuous search for the Fountain of Youth, I discovered Farmacy’s Filling Good Hyaluronic Acid Plumping Serum, and decided to buy it based on its claim of diminishing fine lines and wrinkles. Considering I’ve used it down to the last drop three times already, I’d say I’m pretty hooked on how effective it is.

As soon as I first used the Farmacy serum, I knew it was going to be a game-changer for my skin. The lush texture is almost like that of a moisturizer, and it has a subtle, honey scent. I only need two pumps for my entire face, neck, and décolletage, which I apply immediately after I shower, while my skin is still a little damp and steamy. It’s made with hyaluronic acid, one of my favorite skincare ingredients thanks to its super-hydrating (and non-irritating) properties. This serum takes hyaluronic acid to the next level, with different molecular weights delivering maximum hydration to the skin instantly. Additionally, it includes encapsulated thyme extract to smooth fine lines, potent vegan collagen to plump, and amino acids to firm the skin.

The wrinkles on my forehead started disappearing almost instantly when I started using the serum. Within the first week, I no longer saw them jumping out at me in photos or on FaceTime calls. After using it daily for over six months and repurchasing it multiple times, my skin is definitely much plumper and hydrated than it was before.

I also checked in with two of my friends who use and love the Filling Good serum after I convinced them to buy it. One of them raved: “As someone with very sensitive skin, this helps keep it smooth and hydrated. I definitely see the plumping effect without it irritating my skin!” Meanwhile, my other friend said it gives her skin “a supple look” without feeling greasy, even though she has oily skin. A handful of Amazon reviewers agree, saying that the serum is “very gentle,” “a great base,” and that it keeps skin glowing “throughout the day and night.”

For now, my forehead wrinkles have definitely met their match. At only $39, I consider Farmacy’s Filling Good Hyaluronic Acid Plumping Serum an absolute skincare steal.
