A few months later, the actors went Instagram official, but still, their outings as a couple were few and far between. That's why it came as a complete (yet welcome) surprise to see the pair step out for a rare public date with an even rarer PDA moment. On Wednesday, the Spider-Man stars were spotted leaving the Crosby Street Hotel holding hands in New York City to see the screening of Holland's new film Uncharted. Aside from the casual hand-hold, Zendaya and Tom were stylishly in sync with their color-coordinated outfits. For her part, Zendaya looked effortlessly chic in a black shirt dress with a waist-cinching belt and sheer tights. She paired the outfit with classic black suede Christina Louboutin heels and a matching face mask. Her auburn lob was styled in voluminous waves that touched down right at her shoulders. Meanwhile, Tom complemented Zendaya's look in a light gray suit with a black turtleneck underneath and a coordinating pair of boots on the bottom. He, too, also wore a black face mask that was identical to the one his girlfriend wore. Zendaya and Tom Holland Were Told Not to Date by a Spider-Man Producer While a Zendaya and Tom sighting isn't something that happens everyday, the actors explained why they like to keep a low profile during an interview with GQ back in November. "I've always been really adamant to keep my private life private, because I share so much of my life with the world anyway," Holland said, revealing that he and Zendaya both felt "robbed of our privacy" after photos of them kissing began to circulate on the internet. "It's not a conversation that I can have without her… This isn't my story. It's our story. And we'll talk about what it is when we're ready to talk about it together." Zendaya agreed, adding: "I think loving someone is a sacred thing and a special thing and something that you want to deal with and go through and experience and enjoy amongst the two people that love each other."
