Keri Hilson's Changing Looks
The songwriter scored a hit as a guest vocalist on Timbaland's "The Way I Are" and sported long side-swept fringe with toffee highlights.
Hilson got edgy for the MTV Video Music Awards with a dip-dyed bowl cut.
She attended an Atlanta awards show with a sleek, streaked pageboy. "Short hair is fun and more versatile than people think," she told Essence. "I think I have a certain spunk that long hair doesn't really allow me to express."
After the release of her debut album, In a Perfect World, Hilson looked calm and confident with mid-tone brown strands.
For the Grammys, the double nominee experimented with her look. "I didn't want to cut off my tail or abandon my short hair just because I was wearing a gown," she told Essence. "But I still wanted a sweep-back. So this was the result-I loved it!"
Blond ambition, indeed. As she worked on her second album, No Boys Allowed Hilson turned to a golden asymmetrical bob.
For the "Think Like a Man" premiere, Hilson added drama to her shoulder-length curls by pinning them back on one side.
