According to Hendricks's makeup artist Georgie Eisdell, the star's Emmy makeup was "'20s with a modern edge." After sweeping her lids with silver shadow, Eisdell dusted the star's décolletage with a loose, shimmery powder. "It catches the light so beautifully, and gives her skin the perfect glow," the makeup artist said.

"My inspiration was actually an Ellen Barkin photograph. It was a '60s throwback with a modern twist," said hairstylist Jen Atkin. "I set the mohawk section for good volume, then teased her hair and threw it into a French twist."
