"When I'm working, I go for very dramatic makeup," Adele told InStyle of looks like this one. "I love contouring-Boy George style-with lots of blush on my cheeks."
At VH1 Divas, she lived up to the title with a teased ponytail and '60s-inspired lashes.
For the MTV Video Music Awards, the 21 singer went high volume with a major bouffant.
She lightened up for the Grammys, courtesy of colorist Lucy Holbrook at London's Daniel Galvin salon. "We decided to color Adele’s hair a honey-colored blond as it suited her complexion and really brought out the color of her eyes," Holbrook told People.com. "It was important to elect a color with plenty of depth to complement the bouncy voluminous styles that she favors."
In keeping with her favored retro glam, Adele made her first post-baby appearance at the Golden Globes sporting a voluminous updo.
