New math equation: Louis Vuitton + Paris = yes, yes, yes!
Don’t call us mathematicians, but only the combination of a major fashion house and the City of Love would gather Cate Blanchett, Miranda Kerr, Jennifer Connelly, Michelle Williams, and a parade of unbelievably chic women under one roof. That’s what occurred on Tuesday, where Blanchett joined Vuitton Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquière for one sharply executed celebration of Masters, the brand’s new collaboration with artist Jeff Koons.
Get this: The stars entered the Louvre and posed in front of Vuittonified versions of classic works of art like the Mona Lisa. All in all, it was a fantastically highbrow moment, with guests decked out in (what else?) head-to-toe Vuitton. Blanchett, for one, looked perfectly put together in a leather-padded peplum top with sharply tailored trousers and black pumps. Ghesquière looked handsome, too.
Back in the States, the focus centered on this upcoming weekend’s two major events: Coachella and Easter. Alessandra Ambrosio kicked off all things festival style with Revolve in Palm Springs. Sara Sampaio joined for an Angel-approved photo opp. Earlier in the week, Jaime King and Michelle Monaghan took a selfie with an Easter bunny in L.A. at AKID Brand’s second annual egg hunt.
