Queen Elizabeth II was born in 1926 to her parents, Queen Elizabeth and King George VI. Elizabeth II had a younger sister, Princess Margaret, who was born in 1930 and died in 2002. In 1947, Queen Elizabeth married Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark. The two had four children together: Prince Charles; Anne, the Princess Royal; Prince Andrew; and Prince Edward. Queen Elizabeth II took the throne in 1952 and has been reigning ever since. Her loyal husband Prince Philip sadly passed away in April 2021 at 99 years of age.

The couple had two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, before separating in 1992 after a scandalous affair between Charles and Camila Parker Bowles. Their divorce was finalized in 1996, a year before Princess Di is killed in a car accident after being chased by paparazzi.
