Renée Zellweger Is the Latest Celebrity to Date an HGTV Star
And it's not a Property Brother.
Following the Mary Jane-clad footsteps of Zooey Deschanel and Selling Sunset's Heather Rae Young, Oscar-winning actor Renée Zellweger is the latest star to be linked with an HGTV personality. According to TMZ and People, she and Ant Anstead, star of the network's Wheeler Dealers, are in the beginnings of new love. Sources say that they met on a project recently and after it wrapped, Zellweger returned to set to return a pair of boots and the two decided to take the professional relationship to some place more romantic.
People reports that Zellweger and Anstead worked together on his new Discovery+ series, Celebrity IOU: Joyride. She appears in one episode, the outlet notes. A statement from Scott Brothers Productions - yes, those Scott Brothers - describes the show as a chance for celebs to "roll up their sleeves to create automotive masterpieces for special people in their lives." Other notable names are set to appear alongside Zellweger, including Mary J. Blige, Tony Hawk, Octavia Spencer, James Marsden, and Danny Trejo.
Anstead finalized his divorce to fellow HGTV star Christina Haack on Monday, People adds. The two share a son, Hudson, who is almost 2 years old. Anstead also shares a daughter, Amelie, and son, Archie, with his first wife, Louise. They divorced in 2017.
Zellweger was married to country singer Kenny Chesney in 2005 after a high-profile relationship with Jim Carrey, which lasted from 1999 to 2000. She was also linked to rocker Jack White and fellow actor Bradley Cooper. She was last dating musician Doyle Bramhall II. They were together from 2012 to 2019.
