Renée Zellweger and Her HGTV Boyfriend Are Packing On the PDA

The formula goes a little something like this: two seemingly random people manage to cross paths thanks to a streaming car-makeover reality TV show, they fall in love, and they share it all with fans just as the episode that brought them together is about to hit the airwaves.

It may not be your typical rom-com romance, but it's exactly what happened with Oscar-winner Renée Zellweger and her new HGTV beau, Ant Anstead. People reports that just a day after the two went Instagram official on Anstead's account, photos of the couple making out at a club soccer game hit the internet, warming hearts everywhere.

The kiss went down after Anstead's soccer game in Orange County, California, evident by the fact that he was dressed in a full kit, right down to the cleats. Zellweger kept things low-key with Converse sneakers, grey pants, a USO baseball cap, and a black jacket.

The pair met when Zellweger taped an episode of Anstead's new Discovery+ show, Celebrity IOU: Joyride, which happened to premiere on Monday. News of their romance surfaced earlier this summer.

"Sometimes two people just meet and click, and the timing is right," a source told People at the time. "Renée is creative ... and often goes for guys who think out of the box. She's smart, thoughtful and always looking to expand horizons and nurture those around her. Both of them are private and dislike public scrutiny, so they have that in common. He's a creative guy with lots of interests, and she likes to write and produce, so they have things to talk about when together."

Back on August 7, the two made their first public appearance together at the Radford Motors gala at the Lyon Air Museum in Santa Ana, California.
