She wasn't wearing red, white, and blue, but Reese Witherspoon did bring a bit of Elle Woods's signature style to the nation's capital during a recent visit. To commemorate Women's History Month, Witherspoon brought her signature sunny disposition to Washington, D.C., and spent some time at U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris's home at Number One Observatory Circle. For the occasion, Witherspoon wore a candy-pink coat that looked just like something pulled from Woods's closet, complete with matching pants, pumps, and a coordinating white Bvlgari bag.

"24 hours in DC to celebrate Women's History Month with dear friends and some new friends too!" she wrote alongside her gallery, which also showed her taking in other sites, like a sunglasses store, and the requisite Instagram food shot. In another photo, the Morning Show actress shared a second look at her outfit and smiled alongside U.S. civil rights activist and labor leader Dolores Huerta.

Commenters noticed the homage to Woods immediately, with several applauding the coat, writing, "Reese channeling her inner elle woods!!!" and, "Here for the Legally Blonde vibes with that pink suit!!!"

Witherspoon's trip comes as she celebrated 11 years of marriage to her husband, Jim Toth. Of course, she commemorated the milestone with an Instagram post, writing, "11 years of adventures, love & laughter. I feel so lucky to share this wonderful life with you."
