This Is How Much Princess Eugenie's Royal Wedding Will Cost

Step aside, Harry and Meghan. It’s time for a new royal couple to tie the knot, as Princess Eugenie and wine merchant Jack Brooksbank prepare for their grand October 12 wedding. And no expense is being spared for what is sure to be a day to remember.

Princess Eugenie, first cousin to Princes William and Harry, is reported to have a net worth of $4.8 million dollars. Family fortune aside, Eugenie also boasts a successful career as associate director of the international art gallery Hauser & Wirth.

Eugenie and Jack will exchange vows in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, which is where cousin Harry and Meghan Markle married earlier this year. More than 850 guests are expected to attend, including David and Victoria Beckham and George and Amal Clooney. It is rumored that Eugenie will wear the same headpiece as her mother, Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, did on her special day. The intricately-scrolled York Tiara is said to be worth $300,000.

The cost of the wedding party alone is anticipated to reach over $130,000, but that’s not even close to the total price tag. The entire wedding is estimated to ring in at $2.5 million, most of which will be spent on security. Princess safety clearly doesn’t come cheap.
