Prince William Is Reportedly "Deeply Distressed" By Prince Harry Sharing Their Conversations With Gayle King
King said the discussions Harry had with his brother and father "were not productive."
And the saga continues.
On Tuesday, Gayle King revealed on CBS This Morning that she'd checked in with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and learned that Prince Harry had spoken to both his brother, Prince William, and father, Prince Charles, in the days since the couple's Oprah Winfrey interview aired.
King also shared that said discussions "were not productive."
Apparently Wills, who has vocally voiced support for his "very much not a racist family," was upset that his brother shared details regarding these talks.
According to a source at Entertainment Tonight, William is "deeply distressed with Harry and Meghan's decision to share private family conversations" with the journalist.
The same source also noted that the Duke of Cambridge, who is "fiercely protective" of his wife, Kate Middleton, was "unhappy" that Meghan Markle addressed her in the interview.
This likely refers to Markle setting the record straight regarding the widely reported rumor that she'd made Middleton cry over flower girl dresses for her 2018 wedding. The Duchess of Sussex revealed that it was in fact "the reverse" situation, and that Middleton had made Markle cry — though she later apologized and sent flowers.
