What happens when British royals get caught in a downpour? According to these photos, the same thing as every other person on Earth: They get soaking wet.

While Prince Harry has full authority to act like the literal prince he is and demand that he be covered by an umbrella at all times, on Wednesday he instead braved the rain to greet admirers at an Invictus Games launch event in Sydney, Australia.

Despite a seemingly official umbrella holder in the near vicinity, the prince got drenched in the downpour as he mingled with the locals, like this 97-year-old Australian woman, whom he greeted with a hug and a kiss. In fact, that wasn’t even the first time the lucky woman—a war widow, whose husband fought in World War II—stole a smooch from the prince.

Which brings us back to our point: Prince Harry, who could totally act like a royal a—, is actually a really nice guy. Well, that and that he looks really hot while sopping wet.
