According to the actress herself, she has been into the comedian for years ever since they first met at Seth Meyers's 2013 wedding. "We were at a wedding together and I was like 'Oh my gosh, do you and your fiancée want to go have dinner or something and go hang out?'" she said during a HuffPost Live interview back in 2015. At the time, Munn was dating Will Forte, while Mulaney was engaged to makeup artist Anne Marie Tendler. I was just so obsessed with hanging out with and talking with him." Following the wedding, Munn revealed that she sent Mulaney an email, but "he never emailed back." "I might've got the wrong email — probably. That's what I tell myself," she concluded. John Mulaney and Olivia Munn Are Reportedly Dating Earlier this week, news broke that Munn and Mulaney are dating — days after his divorce from Tendler was confirmed. "This is very new, they're taking it slowly," a source previously told People of their budding romance, before mentioning that the two reconnected "at church." Mulaney and Tendler were married for six years and split shortly after the former Saturday Night Live writer completed a 60-day rehab program. In a statement, Tendler said that she's "heartbroken" over Mulaney's decision to end their marriage, but that she would continue to support him through his recovery.
