Stars hit the pink carpet in the Big Apple to attend New York City Ballet's 2017 gala on Thursday night. A perfect blend of fashion, dance, and celebrity, the evening saw style icon and NYCB board of directors vice chair Sarah Jessica Parker ensuring that event went off without a hitch.
Each season she and the ballet's director of costumes, Marc Happel, work on which high-fashion designers will collaborate with the night's choreographers. And this year, Monse, Tsumori Chisato, Off-White, and Jonathan Saunders collaborated with ballet phenoms Justin Peck, Lauren Lovette, Troy Schumacher, and Gianna Reisen. The looks they worked on together were just as standout as those worn by the stars who toasted to the vibrant occasion.
SJP channeled Carrie Bradshaw in an off-the-shoulder, blue Monse fringe dress, while Malin Akerman slipped on a floral print, asymmetric-shoulder Johanna Ortiz gown. Pregnant Nicky Hilton flaunted her baby bump in a strapless red Oscar de la Renta design.
