Miranda Kerr Revealed What Her First Impression Was of Katy Perry

Meeting your ex's new S.O. can be awkward — like really, really awkward. But for Miranda Kerr, that wasn't the case when she was initially introduced to Katy Perry by her ex-husband, Orlando Bloom.

While making an appearance on the Moments with Candace Parker podcast, the supermodel revealed her first impression of Perry, and, surprisingly, she hit it off with her right away. "When Orlando started dating Katy, I remember he invited me over one time and she was there, and we just immediately got along," Kerr recalled. "I saw how she was with Flynn. She was very playful with Flynn. She was not trying to be his mum. She was just being friendly and fun, and that's all you can ask for."

Kerr even third-wheeled on one of the couple's dates. "We hung out by the pool at his house in Malibu and then there was like a little party up the road, and we all went to it together and it was like, 'Oh, this is great!'" she added.

Elsewhere during the chat, the KORA Organics founder elaborated on her and Perry's healthy relationship. "We go on holidays together. We celebrate all the important milestones together," she said, adding that she prefers to spend her time with the singer more than she does with her ex.

"He's, like, to me right now, a brother. And most of the time, an annoying brother," said Kerr of Bloom, before explaining that Perry helps her deal with him. She continued, "I'm so grateful that she's there because it takes the pressure off me."

Last month, Perry posted a few clips to her Instagram feed showing herself attending a yoga class and spa day with Kerr for her brand, KORA Organics, and the two looked like total friendship goals. "Spent me #wellnesswednesday with my gal @mirandakerr and @koraorganics for the very fresh & soothing #mintymineralhydrationmist launch!" Perry wrote alongside her photos and videos. "First time I did yoga since being preggers … let's just say I enjoyed shavasana okkkk."
