Michelle Williams and Emma Stone Dazzle in Metallic Gowns at the Governors Awards

The eighth annual Governors Awards, hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, took place in Hollywood last night, and the red carpet was filled with absolutely stunning looks from stars like Michelle Williams, Emma Stone, and more.

Williams shimmered as she arrived at the event wearing a glamorous Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2017 black-and-silver gown. The intricate number featured a silver pattern on the mesh overlay, and the 36-year-old actress paired it with simple black sandals and a black clutch. Her blonde hair was parted on one side and swept across her forehead for a simple, yet stunning look.

Emma Stone also wore a black-and-silver gown with an eye-catching pattern. The 28-year-old's dress by London-based label Erdem came down to her ankles and featured a repeated floral motif. Stone wore her shoulder-length hair in messy waves and sported a red lip as she walked the carpet before the event.

Another A+ look came from actress Lily Collins, who kept with the metallic trend in a stunning gold Amanda Wakeley dress. The glamorous satin gown hugged her frame and hung delicately off one shoulder. The 27-year-old upped the wow factor by styling her hair in regal curls and sporting bold eye makeup and a red lip.

Nicole Kidman also rocked a metallic gown at the event. Her outfit by Christopher Kane (another London designer) featured black, silver, and mesh sections for a sophisticated look, and the 49-year-old actress styled her hair loosely in a center part as she worked the red carpet.
