Madonna Got Her First Tattoo In Honor of Her Kids
"Inked for The Very First Time."
Madonna just checked another "first" off her bucket list.
She shared on Instagram on Monday that she just got her very first tattoo, in honor of all six of her kids.
The pop icon got the letters "L R D M S E" tattooed on her the inside of her wrist as a tribute to her six children, Lourdes, 24, Rocco, 20, David, 15, Mercy, 14, and twins Stella and Estere, 8.
"Inked for The Very First Time," she captioned the photos, referencing her hit song "Like a Virgin."
In the photos documenting the occasion, she can be seen getting inked at the Shamrock Social Club, a tattoo parlor in Hollywood. She included a few close-up shots of her receiving the tattoo as well as photos of the parlor and the car she took to the shop.
The new body art comes a week after Madonna shared that she and all of her children were able to gather under one roof for the holidays. The family posed for some rare portraits together, which she shared in video form on her Instagram.
