Calvin Harris is trying out a new sound for 2017 and everyone is going crazy over it. The Scottish record producer dropped his latest single "Slide" last night and fans are buzzing over the pitch-perfect combo of soulful vocals and his R&B inspired beats. Harris is known to collaborate with music's best and brightest, so it shouldn't come as a shock that this single also happens to feature some of the industry's hottest names. Migos, the hip-hop trio behind the chart-topping single "Bad and Boujee," and Frank Ocean, the rapper who independently released his uber-successful album Blonde this past summer, not only sing on the track but also assisted with writing the lyrics.

This single may be the first of 2017 for Harris, but its release follows the DJs extraordinary success in 2016. He dominated the charts with 11 top 40 hits in the United States and collaborated with other well-known artists, including Rihanna and ex-flame Taylor Swift, to produce trending worldwide records such as "This Is What You Came For" and "How Deep Is Your Love." And there is no doubt that this collab with Frank Ocean and Migos will rule the charts.

Leading up to the release, Harris teased the single's artwork on social media, which features a simple and clean layout and a backdrop of palm trees.

And thankfully it doesn't look like "Slide" will be the producer's only drop this year, as he revealed to his fans on Twitter, "All my songs in 2017 have been sonically designed to make you feel fucking incredible." We'll be waiting—with "Slide" on repeat.
