Cold weather dressing can be sexy.

While most people pull out their coziest sweaters and Michelin Man-level puffer jackets when the temperatures outside reach freezing, Lily Collins, on the other hand, has found a way to make cold weather dressing sexy. On Thursday, the actress stepped out for an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote the second season of her Netflix show Emily in Paris, and somehow made sheer work for winter.

Dressed in a sheer black turtleneck bodysuit, Lily combated the cold with a high neckline swathed in velvet while the rest of her outfit left little to the imagination. She paired the mesh catsuit with a black bra, combat boots, and a Givenchy blazer dress with a high-low hemline.

Beauty-wise, Lily wore her in a chic updo that highlighted her new fringe and swiped on a bold red lip.

During her appearance, Lily spoke about her recent honeymoon to the Arctic Circle with husband Charlie McDowell. "The deal was that I would plan the wedding and Charlie would plan the honeymoon. Knowing how much I love the cold, which I don't, we went on an Arctic Circle, Swedish Lapland, edge of the world, Scandinavian food tour," joked Lily, adding: "It was amazing but it was freezing." And while the scenery was beautiful, Lily said she wasn't so keen "on the fact that it was one suitcase, 17 flights and lots of cold weather." We hope she packed actual turtlenecks for the trip, and not just sheer ones.
