Lady Gaga's One-Shoulder Gown Featured a Super-High Leg Slit and a Massive Cutout
The only thing greater than Lady Gaga's portrayal of "Black Widow" Patrizia Reggiani in the upcoming film House of Gucci is the fashion that has accompanied the star from the filming in Italy to the ongoing press tour.
On Monday, the singer stepped out in New York City, after arriving back to the states following the European portion of the promotion. Gaga was spotted exiting the Ed Sullivan Theater in a simple yet elegant black Valentino one-shoulder gown, which included a hip-height leg slit and a massive asymmetric midsection cutout.
The multi-hyphenate paired the chic dress with metallic gold pointy-toed pumps and gold drop earrings. Her platinum blonde locks were parted on the side and styled with Old Hollywood-esque waves. For glam, the actress rocked an exaggerated cat-eye and nude pink lips.
Earlier in the night, Gaga wore a different outfit, which included a custom metallic silver trench coat by Lanvin, which she paired with the silver color way of the gold heels she slipped into later.
During a recent press junket, the actress opened up about the film's costumes that we've been obsessing over since that iconic snow-covered mountain photo with her co-star Adam Driver.
"The clothes should never be a distraction," she said. "The clothes should be a part of the human being that you're playing. Even the way that my eyeliner was shaped, the lipliner that we did that was similar to hers ... it's the nuance that's the difference between an imitation of somebody and a becoming of someone."
