Lady Gaga Stepped Out in a Leotard, Turban, Blazer, and Sky-High Platform Boots
It takes a lot to shock us when it comes to Lady Gaga's outfits — I mean, this is the star who wore a full outfit made of raw beef to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. So when the "Born This Way" singer stepped out for a stroll in N.Y.C. wearing a very over-the-top outfit I didn't expect to be so surprised by it.
But this outfit certainly has some shock value. Gaga stepped out in an all-black ensemble that included a leotard, turban head scarf, an oversized blazer draped over her shoulders, sparkling stockings, 9-inch platform boots, and black cat-eye sunnies. She was leaving the Highline Stages in the Manhattan Meatpacking District, per Daily Mail.
The singer has been parading around N.Y.C. dripping in her usual head-turning fashion. Yesterday, she wore a less-extravagant yet still flashy outfit featuring angel wings and the same monster platform boots.
She's in the Big Apple to prepare for her upcoming joint concert for iconic jazz singer Tony Bennett's 95th birthday. The classically trained singer has been rehearsing for the performance with Bennett, titled One Last Time: An Evening with Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga, which will take place August 3 and 5 at Radio City Music Hall. Bennett will also celebrate his special day on August 3. According to Daily Mail, the duet is also rumored to have recorded an MTV Unplugged.
