Lady Gaga Wore Monster Platform Boots Out in New York City

Little monsters, indeed.

Lady Gaga isn't known for playing it safe — so why would a stroll through New York City be any different? On Monday, the "Rain On Me" singer was spotted on her way to a meeting wearing black sky-high platform boots that were practically impossible to look away from.

The A Star is Born actress paired the lace-up monster platform boots with a super chic black tight, knitted midi-dress with a low neckline and midsection cutout. She carried a rectangular box bag, and her oversized black sunglasses added a layer of sophistication. The star wore her brown tresses off her face and swept into a tight twisted updo.

Lady Gaga is preparing for her NYC performances with Tony Bennett to celebrate the jazz icon's 95th birthday. The special concerts, titled "One Last Time: An Evening with Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga," will take place Aug. 3 and Aug. 5 at Radio City Music Hall.

Gaga posted a video to Instagram on Monday set to Bennett's "Cheek To Cheek." "On my way Tony!," she captioned the video, which shows shots around her house, including a framed image of her and the singer. "I can't wait to sing with my friend. This is how Tony fills my home everyday ❤️ ."

Last week she announced the concerts with a Tweet writing, "I am so honored and excited to celebrate Tony's 95th birthday with him at these special shows."
