People Are Losing It Over This Photo of Lady Gaga and Adam Driver From House of Gucci
After teasing fans with super-glam (somewhat dangerous) throwback looks on the streets of Rome, Lady Gaga finally shared a look of herself in full character for the new Ridley Scott Gucci biopic, House of Gucci. Earlier, paparazzi snapped her in a full red ski-suit, but her Instagram post shows something a little less sporty and slightly more sinister.
The snap shows her with co-star Adam Driver, who is wearing a cozy cable-knit sweater and a white ski suit. Gaga has on a fur hat, an all-black apres-ski turtleneck and pants, and plenty of glam gold in the form of very '80s necklaces and bracelets.
"Signore e Signora Gucci," she wrote alongside the photo. And rightfully, the reactions are amazing.
In the movie, Gaga plays Patrizia Reggiani, a '90s socialite and the ex-wife of Maurizio Gucci. Driver is playing the titular Gucci. JustJared notes that Reggiani "was tried and convicted of orchestrating his assassination on the steps of his office in 1995."
The movie is based on Sara Gay Forden's book, The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed, which chronicles all the behind-the-scenes drama that happened as Gucci rose to become one of the most recognizable names in luxury fashion. Al Pacino and Jared Leto are also starring in the film. House of Gucci is Gaga's first film since her Oscar-winning turn in A Star Is Born back in 2018.
