Kylie Jenner Talks "COVID Times" During Behind-the-Scenes of a Major Photoshoot
Is Kylie's YouTube channel the new KUWTK?
If you were sad about Keeping Up With the Kardashians getting canceled, at least you have Kylie Jenner's YouTube channel to get you through. The 23-year-old posted a behind the scenes of her "sexy sailor" photoshoot for her newest release of Kylie Cosmetics. In the video, she explained all of the ways her team is keeping safe during the coronavirus pandemic.
"I do feel like shooting during COVID times is way different," she said while getting her makeup done. "We all get tested a day before the shoot, we do like a rapid test. Just so everyone feels comfortable. We have a closed set, so just the bare minimum of people. And everyone gets their temperature checked before we come in."
In the U.S. where cases continue to rise, temperature checks have been pretty standard for many of the jobs currently open, however, rapid COVID tests are not readily available (for free) and it takes several days to get results in most areas.
While Kylie isn't wearing a mask for obvious reasons, her makeup artist, photographer, and chef are all wearing theirs (at least for the cameras).
Last week, Jenner came under fire for posting photos in Paris sans mask, despite U.S. residents not being allowed in the country because of the pandemic.
A source for E! News later explained that she was exempt from the rules. "She was able to enter the country on a business exemption," the source shared. "She had meetings for her cosmetics brand and brought friends along to make a trip out of it."
