It doesn't get more on-brand than that.

Yesterday, Kylie Jenner turned 23. To celebrate, she managed to have a very understated celebration that didn't involve any balloon arches, over-the-top themes, live animals, Kenny G performances, or extravagant floral displays. Instead, the youngest Kardashian-Jenner sibling gave her followers a look at the dinner at Nobu Malibu she had with friends and the gifts she got, including a custom-made Bryan Hearns corset and skirt, embellished with "XXIII" spelled out in hundreds of Swarovski crystals.

The corset-clad snapshot is the culmination of Jenner's days-long celebration. Over the past few days, she's shared pictures of a Takashi Murakami-inspired floral sculpture, an elaborate cake, and huge letters spelling out "HBD KYLIE" by her pool. OK, so it wasn't completely free of Kardashian celebration traditions, but Jenner's actual posts didn't highlight the more extravagant birthday events.

Hearns shared that Jenner's custom corset cost $950 and that it was made in collaboration with her stylist, Jill Jacobs. In addition to the crystal XXIII on the corset, Jenner also had the same motif on her body with a crystal tattoo.

"I spoke to her stylist Jill Jacobs about how she wanted something nude with crystals that incorporated her age 23," Hearns told Page Six in an email.

While Kylie kept her party more under-the-radar, her family hasn't been shy about showing off their trips and get-togethers while most people are still under lockdown. According to Elle, Tristan Thompson and Khloé Kardashian hosted a Fourth of July party and the month before that, Kylie threw Khloé a birthday party.
