The actor couple reportedly became parents earlier this year.

Kristen Wiig and fiancé Avi Rothman welcomed twins earlier this year, a source confirmed to People. The Bridesmaids star and her actor boyfriend reportedly became parents of two via surrogate.

Wiig, 46, hinted at the news in Saturday Night Live’s virtual Mother’s Day episode, thanking her mother for "preparing me to be a mom myself."

While it’s unclear exactly how long Wiig and Rothman have been dating, their relationship was first made public after the pair was photographed kissing in Hawaii in the spring of 2016. News of their engagement was reported in August of 2019, months after Wiig had initially been spotted wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring at a Booksmart screening in L.A. Wiig was previously married to another fellow actor, Hayes Hargrove — they parted ways in 2009.

Rothman, like Wiig, got his start at the Groundlings theatre in L.A. His IMDb notes that he’s been featured in several short films and TV series and has written for many as well. Perhaps a Rothman-Wiig collaboration could be on the horizon?
