Kim Kardashian Says She's Working on "Saying No" to Her Kids
Kim Kardashian is putting her lawyer skills to the test on ... her kids? The reality star and actress in the upcoming PAW Patrol: The Movie said she's trying to be stricter with her four kids, North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2, whom she shares with estranged husband Kanye West.
"When my kids want something, typically candy, they give me this look directly in my eyes that cuts right through me," she told Parents in an interview. "I usually give in and give them what they want."
But she does attribute her good parenting skills to her ability to be calm, calling it her "superpower."
"I'm naturally very calm, which I think translates into my parenting," she said. "I don't get super stressed or impatient, which I think is definitely a superpower when you have three kids age five and under running around."
While that certainly sounds like a handful, Kardashian enjoys her big family because she says it reminds her of her childhood. "They get along so well and have so much love for each other," she said. "It reminds me of growing up with Kourtney, Khloé and Rob. There's something so special about having a big family, and I'm happy my babies get that experience the way I did."
Although she did add that it has its downfalls. "Keeping their rooms neat and organized, especially their closets [is the hardest part]."
Ultimately, the Skims founder says that raising her four kids and watching them become individuals is "amazing."
"It's so amazing to watch my kids grow and develop into their own people," she said. "I get the kids outside as much as possible, and I'm good at creating activities for them. They're always playing sports or working on projects."
