Kim Kardashian's Plunging Leathery Dress and Matching Trench Is the Perfect Late Winter Outfit

Spring is just around the corner — this coming Sunday to be exact. But that doesn't mean you can't get one final wear out of your favorite winter outfit. It seems like the queen of Calabasas is doing just that before the Los Angeles sunbeams make it too hot to tolerate all-leather looks. On Wednesday, Kim Kardashian posted a gallery of images of her most recent ensemble to Instagram before she trades in her trench coats for SKIMS Swim.

In the carousel, the reality TV star wore a matte maroon, leathery spaghetti strap dress with a plunging neckline. Kim added a matching trench coat made with a shinier leather that she used as a prop while posing in the snaps, draping it off her shoulders and allowing it to slouch down her arms. She wore pointy-toe boots, leather gloves, and oversized visor sunglasses, all in the same hue to complete the monochromatic look.

Even her eyeshadow appeared to be a similar shade, which she accompanied with a pink lip. Her signature long dark hair was parted down the middle and styled in beach waves.

Kim simply captioned the post with a package emoji.

During her Wednesday appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Kim opened up about going Instagram official with her new boyfriend, Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson. "I guess it's not official until you post," she joked. "I have the cutest pictures of us and I want to be like, 'Oh my God, we're so cute.' But then I'm like, 'Don't be so desperate. Don't be posting so much, just give a glimpse.' I don't know what the right thing to do is, like I haven't dated since before Instagram existed. I don't know what the rules are."

The interview and series of selfies comes after her ongoing divorce battle with Kanye West made headlines again. Following the release of a text exchange between West and Davidson, a source shared how Kim really feels about Pete reaching out to her ex-husband.

"She's really thankful Pete is extremely understanding and chill, and is very happy he is sticking up for himself," a source told E! News. "She thinks it's complete nonsense how Kanye is acting, and enough is enough. She's so happy Pete spoke out [and] hopes Kanye can now move on."
