Kanye West Was Reportedly 'Not Willing' to 'Compromise' in Their Marriage

Kim Kardashian is allegedly "disappointed" they couldn't make it work.

Kim Kardashian is turning to what she knows best: family.

After officially filing for divorce from Kanye West her husband of over six years on Feb. 19, a source told People that Kardashian is spending time with family and focusing on herself and the kids.

"Although Kim and Kanye have been separated for months, it was still emotional for Kim to actually file for divorce," the source said. "She spent the weekend taking care of herself and her kids. She is spending time with her mom, sisters and hasn't been working. Everyone is supportive. Kim feels very lucky to be surrounded by her big family."

The source added that while there's no "drama" between the two, Kardashian is feeling "disappointed," that they couldn't make it work.

"There is no drama between Kim and Kanye," the source said. "Kim is mostly just disappointed that they couldn't figure out how to stay married."

"But it takes two people to create a happy marriage," the source added. "Kim has felt Kanye is not willing to do the hard work and compromise."

Their official divorce came months after rumors and speculation that the couple was headed toward divorce. West reportedly thinks that running in the 2020 Presidential election was the last straw for Kardashian.

"He thinks that the presidential run was the straw that broke the camel's back," a source exclusively told People. "Before that, there was hope. After that, none. It cost him his marriage."
