The news comes after the reality star filed to be declared legally single (a process known as bifurcation) in Dec. 2021. During a video conference on Tuesday, the judge granted Kim a change in her marital status. After Kanye's latest social media rampage against Kim, her family, and her boyfriend Pete Davidson, she filed documents stressing the importance of proceeding with the divorce. "I very much desire to be divorce," she said, according to court documents. "I have asked Kanye to keep our divorce private, but he has not done so. Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private family matters and co-parenting on social media which has created emotional distress. I believe that the court terminating our marital status will help Kanye to accept that our marital relationship is over and to move forward on a better path which will assist us in peacefully co-parenting our children." Kanye has challenged Kim's requests to be legally single in the past, and the rapper was not present at the hearing yesterday. TMZ adds that Kardashian also dropped West from her name and will go back to being Kim Kardashian. Previously: Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from Kanye West, TMZ reports.
