Kendall Jenner's Latest Look Is Very Annie Hall
She's making a strong case for fuzzy bucket hats.
Does it get any more New York than Diane Keaton in Annie Hall? Kendall Jenner seemed to channel the iconic Big Apple film during her latest outing, which saw her wearing a longline, strong-shouldered coat paired with a fuzzy bucket hat and a black face mask.
According to the Daily Mail, Jenner and her pal Bella Hadid were on their way to the Met Museum today when the Diane Keaton-approved ensemble made its debut. In addition to the coat, Jenner wore a turtleneck, dark pants, a '90s-approved tiny shoulder bag, and a pair of chunky Nike sneakers, though even those accessories weren't going to outshine the hat.
Jenner gave her Instagram followers a closer look at the hat and her makeup look with a post to her Stories.
With the hat, the masculine shapes, and the classic feel of the whole outfit, Jenner was channeling Diane Keaton's Annie Hall — and Keaton's own looks. The actor's go-to style often includes statement hats (check) and a coat (double-check for Kendall).
It's not the first time that Jenner has stepped out with a micro shoulder bag, but it may be the first time she's pledged her allegiance to one of Woody Allen's most memorable flicks. It could be the beginning of seeing Jenner in tennis whites (Match Point) or, if she really wants to get in on the '90s looks, outfits pulled from Mighty Aphrodite.
