Kelly Rowland Welcomed Her Second Child
She announced her pregnancy in October.
Congratulations are in order, as Kelly Rowland and husband Tim Weatherspoon have welcomed their second child — a son, Noah Jon.
On Saturday, the singer announced the exciting news on Instagram, revealing that the family's new addition was born last week. "On the 21st day, of the 21st year, of the 21st Century, Noah Jon Weatherspoon greeted us," Rowland captioned a sweet photo of her eldest son, Titan Jewell, 6, holding his little brother's hand. "We are truly grateful."
She went on to add that Noah was born on Jan. 21 at 8:13 p.m., weighing in at 7 pounds and 8 ounces.
Back in October, Rowland revealed she was expecting on the cover of Women's Health with a stunning pregnancy photo shoot. In an interview with the magazine, the singer shared that she and Weatherspoon decided to try for a second baby at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, and much to their surprise, she got pregnant right away.
"We had been talking about it loosely, and then COVID happened, and we were just like, 'Let's see what happens,'" she said. "And being able to have a child… I'm knocking at 40′s door in February. Taking care of myself means a lot to me."
She shared the same story with People, and added: "Literally, by the grace of God, God blessed us with a new life. We're just really excited."
