Katie Holmes Wore an Early 2000s-Inspired Outfit for a Rare Outing With Daughter Suri
And the mother-daughter duo look more like sisters.
Leave it to Katie Holmes to make even the most controversial early 2000s trends look good. The actress was spotted on a rare outing with her daughter Suri in New York City looking like the ultimate version of casual-chic.
In photos obtained by Daily Mail, Holmes and her daughter Suri look like twins as they're spotted taking a stroll. The Dawson's Creek alum wore oversized, low-rise baggy pants with a drawstring, which she paired with a white tank and her favorite pair of Birkenstocks. She completed the look with rectangular tortoise-shell sunnies and a black tote bag. Suri followed in her mother's early aughts-inspired footsteps with low-rise jeans and a lime green top.
The actress-turned-director just completed her second directorial project, which is currently untitled and was filmed in secret, notes Daily Mail. She'll also star in the film, which is currently in post-production, with Jim Sturgess, Derek Luke, Melissa Leo, and Zosia Mamet.
According to Deadline, "The film centers on two strangers embroiled in bad relationships, who accidentally book the same upstate New York Airbnb, where they're forced to confront quarantine and their disdain for one another in this unexpected and unlikely love story."
She also recently launched a production company called Lafayette Pictures, alongside Jordan Yale Levin, Jordan Beckerman, and Jess Korman of Yale Productions, after working with them on the untitled project.
