Kate Middleton Wore White to Chat With a Snow Princess on Zoom

Royal to royal.

In her latest Zoom call, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton met with a little princess during a call to commemorate the five-year anniversary of Little Village, a U.K. charity that supplies families in need and trains volunteers to provide emotional support for parents. During Kate's call with Vicky Jones, a mother involved with the charity, her 3-year-old daughter, Isla, popped on wearing a tiara, making for an impromptu royal meeting.

"You look very nice today. I love your hairband," Kate said.

Isla explained, "I'm a princess today. It's snowing outside."

And because royals discuss things like public works and community art, Kate asked, "Is it snowing? Ah. No way! Have you been outside? Have you made a snowman yet?"

According to What Kate Wore, Kate's white top is from L.K. Bennett. She paired the statement collar (Ella Emhoff would approve) with black jeans and her usual straight hair.

"It's a pretty tricky time for everybody, but particularly now during lockdown. I wanted to check in to see how you and your family are doing," Kate said on the call.

"It's become a bit of a struggle since we've recently moved," Jones explained "We've found it a lot harder financially. But she can entertain me to keep me happy."

Little Village works with a network of over 1,800 professionals, such as midwives and social workers, and connects them to families for advice and support. Kate, who has worked with the charity in the past, also spoke with Sophia Parker, Little Village's founder, and Yelda Rashid, another mother in the program.

"Even just your interest in this means a lot to us. We feel cared about and someone is thinking about us, we are not just isolated here," Rashid said. "Thank you so much."

"I'm thinking about you a lot and I really care for families up and down the country," Kate said.
