Kate Middleton is kicking off her part of the Cambridges' Scotland tour in bold blue.

The Duchess of Cambridge joined Prince William on a tour of Scotland on Monday, stepping out in a royal blue ensemble with a matching face mask. She wore a blue buttoned blazer and accordion skirt, accessorizing with a tan suede bag and matching shoes.

As Glamour pointed out, the suit is very similar to one her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana wore.

According to People, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (who are titled the Earl and Countess of Strathearn when they are in Scotland) visited Turning Point, a social care charity, to hear about the support provided to people with complex needs, including addiction and mental health challenges.

They also met via video call with staff from TPS' Glasgow Overdose Response Team (GORT), to hear how the service works to reduce drug-related deaths by providing support for people who have experienced a near fatal overdose.

This week, the duke and duchess are set to the town where they met and fell in love at university, St. Andrews.

During a speech over the weekend in Scotland, Prince William recalled his memories of spending time in the country, including being at Balmoral when he learned of his mother Princess Diana's death.

"Alongside this painful memory, is one of great joy. Because it was here in Scotland — twenty years ago this year — that I first met Catherine," he said.
