We may love Kate Middleton for her famous re-wears, but when the Duchess of Cambridge steps out in a new outfit, it's always chic.

On Wednesday, she made an appearance at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, wearing a red houndstooth print Alessandra Rich dress with black buckle pumps and a matching black mask. She paired the drop waist silhouette with her hair worn down long in a blowout.

The V&A, not far from her home at Kensington Palace, had just reopened after shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic.

According to People, the duchess viewed Raphael Court, home to Raphael Cartoons, which underwent a nine-month refurbishment to mark the 500th anniversary of the artist's death. Middleton, who studied art history in college, heard about the renovations done at the museum, as well as the on-site digital experience.

The event comes a week after she and Prince William had a joint engagement in Wolverhampton to take part in wellbeing sessions with groups of young people, even joining in on soccer games and archery lessons.
