Kate Hudson Proves Lime Is Happening in This Head-to-Toe Neon Green Look

Get your sunglasses ready.

Fresh from a ski trip that included skintight Balmain, Kate Hudson took to the streets of New York City wearing a retina-searing neon green outfit that swapped out her stealthy slope-ready getup for cozy knits and a more relaxed silhouette. While bright, traffic-stopping green may not be a winter staple for most, Hudson made a case for skipping out on winter white with her oversized, chunky turtleneck and wide-leg pants.

In addition to her bold pieces, she carried a black coat and added simple black gloves to the outfit, though she did punctuate the attention-grabbing ensemble with matching fluorescent pumps. Finishing touches included fiery red lipstick and big, wavy hair.

Hudson also knows that lime isn't the only way to go. Before stepping out in this trending color, she on the Today show in an equally bright pink-and-orange outfit. She explained to hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager that she was just as surprised as anyone when she realized that she was mom to a teen, tween, and a toddler all at once, saying, "I don't know how it happened, but it happened fast."

"I always thought I'd have four to six kids," she added, noting that it was probably because she was used to it, coming from a large family. "That was like, when I was really little, I thought that. When you come from a big family ... you either don't want kids or you want a lot of kids. So I always thought I'd have [more kids]."

Hudson has three children: Ryder Robinson, Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa, and Bingham Hawn Bellamy.
