Julia Garner Revived This 'Gossip Girl' Trend on the (Virtual) Red Carpet

Blair Waldorf is shaking.

Julia Garner, our Prada queen, made yet another dazzling virtual red carpet appearance on Thursday evening — this time, for the Film Independent Spirit Awards.

The Ozark star, who was nominated for her performance in arresting #MeToo drama The Assistant, attended the virtual fête in a gray-blue midi Prada gown adorned by marabou feathers and Swarovski crystal embellishments.

Perhaps pulling a page from Blair Waldorf's style guide, Garner paired her gown with a set of opaque blueish white tights, which she complemented with satin T-strap pumps.

Garner added to the vintage Hollywood glam of her look with a set of David Webb pearl earrings and a deep silvery smoky eye paired with an orange-red lip, her blonde hair coiffed in '40s-style curls.

The actress kicked off a year of virtual red carpet wins with her plunging jazz age-inspired Prada Golden Globes gown. Then, she jumped a few decades ahead and tackled the '80s with a color-block Christopher John Rogers bodycon maxidress at the Critics' Choice Awards. Which era will she tackle next??
