Jennifer Lopez's Head-to-Toe Plaid Look Included Sky-High Boots with the Coolest Detail

Who says you can't wear plaid after the holidays? Jennifer Lopez is once again breaking another unspoken fashion rule with a head-to-toe festive look.

On Thursday, J.Lo posted a carousel of images to her Instagram in a deep red tartan ensemble. Her outfit featured a bulky sweater adorned with metal studs and flared pants with the same black, red, and yellow pattern.

Matching tall pointed-toe boots with curved gold heels peeked out from underneath her trousers and a handbag in the same checkered fabric added to the effect. The actress and singer accessorized with stacked gold bracelets, a black belt and silver chain attached to the slacks, a dainty heart necklace, and small hoop earrings.

Her signature caramel looks were parted down the middle and styled in long gentle waves courtesy of hairstylist-to-the-stars Chris Appleton, whom she tagged in her post. She even stuck to the theme in the beauty department with a crimson manicure and matching lip.

"Plaid girls club 💋🖤❤️ ," she wrote alongside the gallery of selfies.

The megastar has been a fan of the chic pattern as of late — earlier this week, she shared another series of snaps in an overcoat and skirt set in a similar woven pattern. She was promoting her highly-anticipated upcoming movie Marry Me, which premieres in theaters and on Peacock this Valentine's Day.
