Jennifer Lopez Got a New Set of Bangs

No stranger to switching up her look, Jennifer Lopez got bangs. Don't be fooled by the locks that she's got, though, because they could be here today and gone in a few days, because Lopez is also no stranger to extensions. Lopez's hairstylist, Chris Appleton, seemed to imply that the new fringe is the real deal, however, when he shared the big reveal on Instagram.

His caption was short and sweet: "@jlo got bangs today." Aside from the new bangs, Lopez's hair was long, wavy, and kissed with honey-colored highlights.

Late last month, Lopez also showed off a set of curtain bangs when she debuted her new music videos with Maluma, "Pa' Ti" and "Lonely."

"Hair has such a big part of the storytelling," Appleton told Vogue about all the different styles she had in the video. "The hairstyle enables you to believe who that person is or what situation she's in — it was a lot of fun."

The last time Lopez had bold bangs was back in 2018, when she had long front bangs courtesy of Appleton's scissors. Before that chop ("She bangs," he wrote, keeping his succinct captions on-brand.), Lopez had side-swept bangs, proving that no matter the style, she can bang it out with the best of them.
