Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Are "Making it Work" Despite a Busy Fall Apart

We all know that absence makes the heart grow fonder, but we didn't know that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck could get any fonder of each other.

According to People, everyone's favorite couple is going to have to spend some time apart in the coming months because of their booming careers. But fear not, because a source confirmed what we already knew — they're "making it work."

"This is their life together now," the source said. "They will see each other when they can."

Exhibit A: the Argo actor flew from Austin, Texas, where he's currently filming his upcoming thriller Hypnotic, to New York City in order to be with Lopez during her Global Citizen Live performance this past weekend.

"Ben wanted to be by her side," the source added. "They are always supportive of each other's careers, and Jennifer was very excited to have Ben in New York City."

And in case you missed it (highly doubtful), the couple spent the rest of the weekend strolling around the city stopping frequently for makeout sessions. People reported that Affleck has now headed back to work in Austin.

Since all of their respective kids — Lopez's twins Max and Emme and Affleck's kids Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel — go to school in Los Angeles, this is where the duo "will spend time when they can," according to the People's source.

And the source confirms that the aforementioned sentiment that absence makes the heart fonder is true for this reunited couple, saying they "both gush about each other."
